David Wahl serves as Vice President and General Manager of SMTC’s Fremont manufacturing operations, bringing more than 30 years of experience delivering high-quality results and operational excellence for customers. He has an extensive background in the Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry and a proven track record of leading complex manufacturing organizations.

Prior to joining SMTC, Mr. Wahl served as Site President for Emerald Technologies in San Jose. Earlier in his career, he spent 25 years with Jabil as Senior Vice President, where he played a key role during a period of significant growth for both the company and the EMS industry.

Mr. Wahl holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke University and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
