As Chief Transformation, Strategy, and Administrative Officer, Mr. Brooks has 22+ years of experience leading global teams in strategy development, operational improvement, enterprise transformation, and M&A. He has worked extensively with commercial, private equity-backed, and public sector-focused companies. He has significant expertise in Aerospace & Defense, as well as other diversified industrial sectors.

Prior to joining SMTC, Mr. Brooks spent 18+ years in management consulting. Most recently, he was a Partner at AlixPartners. Earlier in his career, Mr. Brooks served five years on active duty in the U.S. Army as a Space & Missile Defense Officer, where he specialized in the PATRIOT missile defense system.

Mr. Brooks earned a BS from the United States Military Academy at West Point, and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
