Arne Vogt is VP and General Manager for our Melbourne, Florida Campus. Mr. Vogt is responsible for steering our Operational strategy in Melbourne.

Mr. Vogt comes to SMTC with over 19-years progressive Leadership background in Manufacturing Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement within EMS and OEM companies. As well, Mr. Vogt has extensive experience in business transformation management, LEAN Sigma leadership, and strategic planning. Prior to SMTC, Mr. Vogt held the role of VP Operations and Supply Chain for Cobham Advanced Electronics Solutions, where he led cross-functional teams globally in an $800M+ organization with 2600 employees and 16 locations. He also held progressive quality, engineering, continuous improvement, supply chain, and manufacturing leadership roles at Ayrshire EMS, SCI-Sanmina, and STIHL Corporation.

Mr. Vogt holds a BA in Business Administration from Colorado Technical University and an MS in Business from Washington State University. He is a six-sigma black belt, and also holds an APICS CPIM certification.
