MC Assembly® Hires Luis Ramirez as Chief Operating Officer
Palm Bay, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE) – MC Assembly, a leading mid-tier electronic manufacturing services (EMS) provider, announced today that it has hired Luis Ramirez as Chief Operating Officer. The COO position is being created to support the current growth MC Assembly is experiencing and the future growth the company is planning. The responsibilities of this position include all aspects of engineering, quality, program management, materials, operations and site P&L.
Mr. Ramirez has an extensive background in global operations and supply chain management. He brings to MC Assembly over 18 years of electronics industry experience, including management positions with Cooper Bussman; Laird Technologies; Thomas & Betts; and Cutler Hammer.
Mr. Ramirez received his Bachelors of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico; his Masters in Engineering Management from the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico; and his Masters in Business Administration from the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis.
